THE SUPERTRUCK COMES TO TOWN  

The GMC HUMMER EV^† is in Arizona, and Phoenix is getting an exclusive look until April 5 as part of its introductory campaign to the public.

The Phoenix area offers the perfect terrain for the HUMMER EV to highlight its blistering on-road performance and rugged off-road capabilities — all in a zero-tailpipe emissions package.

On Saturday, March 19, lucky onlookers in Scottsdale’s Old Town were treated to a rare HUMMER EV parade where we displayed some of the unique and exciting features, like available CrabWalk^TM†, that help set the HUMMER EV apart from the competition.

While the GMC HUMMER EV showcased its extraordinary capability in Arizona these past few weeks, we’re excited to announce the television premiere of “REVOLUTION: GMC HUMMER EV,” a new documentary featuring the development of the all-electric supertruck. Filmed across the country — including at General Motors’ rigorous desert proving ground in Yuma, Arizona — the 60-minute documentary follows the hand-selected group of GM team members who helped launch the company’s first all-electric pickup in a record time of just over two years.

The film first aired in the DRIVE block on The HISTORY® Channel on Sunday, March 27. The documentary will also be available for streaming on GMC’s YouTube channel, and via History on Hulu and History.com.
