With the myGMC Mobile App*, drivers have an intuitive and personalized way to connect with their GMC pickup truck or SUV. Continue reading to learn more about features and how the app is being improved and enhanced.

The modern, user-friendly design for the app starts with the home screen, which includes the primary remote commands to start/stop the vehicle, lock/unlock the doors and sound the horn. Distinct graphics are used to represent each of these functions, which sit beneath an image of the specific GMC vehicle the app is associated with. Other features can be found under the “View More” section.

The myGMC Mobile App also offers more versatility with the Family Sharing function. This innovative feature allows drivers the ability to grant up to eight people access to a GMC vehicle and share app benefits like remote commands. Each Family Sharing member can use their own compatible mobile device, and has their own unique sign-in and biometrics. Family Sharing is available to customers with an active and eligible Connected Services* plan or trial plan.

The features shared with the eight people are:
•    Vehicle Locate*
•    Wi-Fi^® Hotspot* management
•    Remote commands* (start/stop, lock/unlock, activate/deactivate horn)

Family Sharing even allows for multiple vehicles to be shared among members. So households with more than one GMC or other General Motors brand vehicles can share access and functions of the myGMC app.

The myGMC app also feature functions like sending destinations to the in-dash navigation* system, scheduling service visits and making payments.

The myGMC mobile app keeps getting better with a recent update to elevate your experience and better connect you with your GMC truck or SUV. Now you can easily check your vehicle’s health with Vehicle Status, which allows you to see important details like fuel and tire pressure* levels and when you need to get your next oil change.

In addition, the following features have been redesigned for a more seamless experience:

• A more personalized interface, completely redesigned for you and your vehicle
• Conveniently located remote commands — now available right in the home screen
• Vehicle status and charge status at a glance — right on your home screen
