The New 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4X is a pioneer of premium off-roading, empowering drivers to embrace the great outdoors. This dominating truck was given an even bolder look, featuring a redesigned front fascia and grille with gloss black upper and dark nickel inserts, and 18" gloss black wheels with 33" Goodyear Wrangler^® Territory MT tires.

The New 2023 Sierra 1500 AT4X also took the premium off-road capability to new heights, receiving AEV-inspired off-roading enhancements like hot-stamped boron steel front approach skid plates as well as a large steel transfer case to help protect underbody components from rocks and gravel.

Under the hood, this truck is equipped with a 6.2L V8 engine with 420 hp and 460 lb.-ft. of torque, making this truck capable of towing* up to 8,700 lbs. and a max payload* of 1,290 lbs. The power under the hood is paired with a specific off-road chassis and tuning and a two-speed transfer case with a variety of selectable modes for multiple off roading scenarios such as Terrain Mode — which is ideal for low-speed, off-road conditions, providing extreme control and is precision enabled for one-pedal* rock crawling, using only the accelerator.

Underneath the vehicle, the AT4X trim has front and rear e-locking differentials*, a combination not offered by any competitor in its class. E-lockers are designed to provide the necessary torque and increased traction when wheel slippage is present. These differentials also send increased torque to a wheel — in either the front or rear axle when it loses traction.

In addition, the New 2023 Sierra 1500 AT4X includes Multimatic™ DSSV shocks and dampers that deliver premium performance, control and comfort — featuring three separate spool valves to control damping and three connected chambers for fluid flow. Optimized through extensive real-world subjective evaluation and tuning, Multimatic DSSV Dampers deliver uncompromised performance in nearly all operating conditions and eliminate limitations inherent to conventional shim dampers. Multimatic DSSV Dampers deliver premium control with an additional 50mm (front) and 25mm (rear) suspension travel, creating comfort on-road, and robust performance during off-road adventures.

The interior of the New Sierra 1500 AT4X |Full-Size Truck| comes with the luxurious Obsidian Rush interior, an athletic-inspired interior unique to the AT4X trim featuring full-grain leather seats with red and white double-needle stitching, technical-grain leather accents, a premium leather-trimmed instrument panel and door panels accented with black-finished authentic Vanta ash wood trim, a premium microsuede headliner, sun visors and pillars, and etched stainless-steel speaker grilles

The interior also offers an elevated technology experience for your outdoor adventure. Most notable are the 13.4" diagonal infotainment center, 12.3" diagonal digital driver information center and 15" diagonal multicolor head-up display, offering over 40 inches (diag.) of combined driver-focused digital displays — the most in its class*

The New 2023 Sierra 1500 AT4X AEV Edition will receive a host of key AEV off-road enhancements and design enhancements geared for those looking to blaze new trails.

The First Ever Sierra 1500 AT4X AEV Edition is ready to take on some of the gnarliest terrains. This truck has an improved 32.5-degree front approach angle, a raised ground clearance to 11.2 inches, 23-degree departure and breakover angles, and AEV stamped steel powder-coated and e-coated front and rear bumpers. These bumpers are designed for serious off-road action, featuring heavy-duty cast recovery points and front winch capability while providing excellent durability and corrosion resistance. No other competitor in its class* features a factory-installed winch-capable front bumper.

Take on the toughest terrains thanks to rugged underbody protection with hot-stamped Boron steel skid plates. These skid plates are more than 3.5 times stronger than equivalent cold-stamped, steel and help protect vital components under the truck such as the front approach, steering gear, transfer case, fuel tank and rear differential from ruts, rocks, stumps and the adversity of the trail. In addition, Rocker Protection with an optional bolt-on step assist is equipped to help protect the truck’s rocker panels.

The First Ever Sierra 1500 AT4X AEV Edition also features new AEV race-inspired Salta Wheels. These unique wheels feature a unique 12-spoke design with AEV’s signature recessed valve stems for added protection from rocks on the trail and a gloss black finish with laser engraved accents. These wheels are paired with larger 33" Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT Tires. A factory-provided full-size spare AEV wheel and tire are also included.
