Here are some examples of what the system can do:
Personalized Suggestions: If you’re signed into your Google Account, Google Maps may suggest destinations based on your habits and schedule. For the most personalized experience, sign into your Google Account and save your home and work addresses.
Routing Options: Google Maps gives you multiple options when selecting a route to your destination.
Traffic and POI: Google Maps stays up to date, providing you with the latest map details and information about traffic and events along your route.
View Options: On some models, you can also view your navigation route or turn-by-turn directions in the cluster display.
EV Mapping Experience: You can plan your route based on your state of charge or preferred charging stations, search for charging stations along your route and see the estimated charge state at arrival. If you have a NACS DC adapter or if your vehicle is equipped with the NACS inlet, you can use the map screen to find Tesla Superchargers along your route. If a charging stop to a fast charger is planned in your route, your vehicle will automatically start battery preconditioning, which can improve charging speed. When your battery state of charge gets low, Google Maps will prompt you to add a stop at a charge station to your route.
