EXTEND YOUR TRUCK BED WITH THE MULTIPRO MIDGATE
The MultiPro Midgate is a clever closure that turns a short-bed pickup into a long-bed pickup. Use the release button located at the bottom of both sides of the Midgate for more truck bed flexibility.
The vehicle must be in PARK with doors unlocked for the Midgate release buttons to work. You can lower the larger passthrough (60%) or the full Midgate. You cannot lower the smaller passthrough (40%) by itself.
Lowering the Midgate:
1. Secure the second-row seat belt buckles to the opening slot in the door trim.
2. Fold the rear seats.
― The front seats might have to be moved forward slightly to allow the rear seats to fold all the way.
3. Stand outside of the vehicle and hold the Midgate securely so it does not fall forward.
― The Midgate will be heavy and will require effort to lower it gently.
4. Press either of the buttons to open the larger door of the Midgate (the 60-passthrough).
5. Press either of the buttons a second time to open the smaller door if the large door is already open.
6. If the glass is stowed, pressing either of the buttons will open the entire Midgate.
Raising the Midgate:
1. Secure the second-row seat belt buckles into the opening slot in the door trim.
2. Raise the Midgate with a motion firm enough to engage the latches to ensure it closes properly.
― The Midgate will be heavy and will require some effort to lift and close.
3. Once the Midgate is securely latched, raise the seats and release the seat belt buckles from the slot in the door trim.
Note: Whenever you store the rear glass in the vehicle, be sure it is secure in the MultiPro Midgate storage pocket.
Note: Keep seats in an upright position when possible. See the Owner’s Manual for details.
