Safety or driver-assistance features are no substitute for the driver’s responsibility to operate the vehicle in a safe manner. The driver should remain attentive to traffic, surroundings and road conditions at all times. Visibility, weather and road conditions may affect feature performance. Read the vehicle’s Owner’s Manual for more important feature limitations and information.

REAR CAMERA MIRROR

Rear Camera Mirror uses a camera to provide you a wide and less obstructed view behind the vehicle while you’re driving. You can switch between the camera view and a traditional rear-view mirror.

HIGH DEFINITION SURROUND VISION

HD Surround Vision uses multiple cameras to display a digital overhead image of the area around your vehicle along with Rear Vision Camera or front views. It works at low speeds and may help you park and avoid nearby objects. You can select additional views on your camera display.

HITCH GUIDANCE

Hitch Guidance displays a guideline on the Rear Vision Camera view when you’re in Reverse to help line up your hitch to your trailer. When driving, Hitch Guidance allows you to briefly check your trailer using the Rear Vision Camera view.

Hitch Guidance with Hitch View displays a guideline on the Rear Vision Camera view when you’re in Reverse to help line up your hitch to your trailer and offers a close-up Hitch View. When driving, Hitch Guidance with Hitch View allows you to briefly check your trailer using the Rear Vision Camera view.

HIGH DEFINITION REAR VISION CAMERA

HD Rear Vision Camera shows you a high-resolution digital image of the area directly behind your vehicle when you’re in Reverse at low speeds. This may help you park and avoid nearby objects.

Surround Vision uses multiple cameras to display an overhead image of the area around your vehicle along with Rear Vision Camera or front views. It works at low speeds and may help you park and avoid nearby objects.

Help increase your road awareness with available safety and driver-assistance features that can warn you when potential dangers are detected.

FOLLOWING DISTANCE INDICATOR

Following Distance Indicator displays the gap time in seconds between your vehicle and a detected vehicle you’re following. This can help you decide if you’re following much too closely.

FORWARD COLLISION ALERT

Forward Collision Alert can warn you if it detects a potential front-end collision with a vehicle you’re following so you can quickly take action. It can also provide a tailgating alert if you’re following a vehicle much too closely.

FRONT AND REAR PARK ASSIST

Front and Rear Park Assist* can provide distance alerts to nearby detected objects in front of or behind your vehicle to help you park and avoid collisions at low speeds.

LANE CHANGE ALERT WITH SIDE BLIND ZONE ALERT*

Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert can provide side-mirror visual alerts when a detected moving vehicle is quickly approaching or is in your side blind zone. It can help you avoid lane change collisions.

REAR CROSS TRAFFIC BRAKING

When you’re in reverse, available Rear Cross Traffic Braking alerts you and automatically provides hard emergency braking to help prevent a collision with detected vehicles crossing behind you.

REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT

Rear Cross Traffic Alert can warn you of detected left or right cross traffic behind your vehicle when you’re in Reverse.

REAR PARK ASSIST

Rear Park Assist* can provide distance alerts to nearby detected objects behind your vehicle to help you park and avoid collisions when you’re in Reverse at low speeds.

SIDE BLIND ZONE ALERT

Side Blind Zone Alert can provide side-mirror visual alerts when a moving vehicle is detected in a side blind zone. It can help you avoid lane change collisions.

BLIND ZONE STEERING ASSIST

Blind Zone Steering Assist can provide a brief, firm turn of the steering wheel when a potential collision is detected with a moving vehicle in the lane you’re entering.

Help prevent collisions with available active safety and driver-assistance features that can help alert and assist you while out on the road.

AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING

Automatic Emergency Braking works with Forward Collision Alert to help you avoid or reduce the severity of a front-end collision with a detected vehicle you’re following. This feature works at speeds below 50 mph. Camera technology is used to automatically provide hard emergency braking or enhance the driver’s hard braking.

AUTOMATIC PARKING ASSIST

Automatic Parking Assist can search for and steer your vehicle into a parallel or perpendicular parking space. While the feature steers, you’ll brake, accelerate and follow directions to shift gears.

LANE KEEP ASSIST WITH LANE DEPARTURE WARNING

Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning uses a brief, gentle steering wheel turn to alert you when you may be unintentionally drifting out of detected lane lines, so you can steer to stay safely in your lane. If needed, you may receive additional Lane Departure Warning alerts. System alerts do not occur if you’re using your turn signal or it detects you may be intentionally leaving your lane.

ENHANCED AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING

Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking works with Forward Collision Alert to help you avoid or reduce the severity of a front-end collision with a detected vehicle you’re following, including at highway speeds. Radar and camera technology are used to automatically provide hard emergency braking or enhance the driver’s hard braking.

ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL

Adaptive Cruise Control can automatically maintain a driver-selected gap time from the detected you’re following while you steer. This feature reduces the need for you to frequently brake and accelerate when you're driving.

FRONT PEDESTRIAN BRAKING

Front Pedestrian Braking can help you avoid or reduce the severity of a front-end collision with a pedestrian it detects directly ahead of you. It provides pedestrian alerts and can even automatically provide hard emergency braking or enhance the driver’s hard braking. The system works at speeds below 50 mph during the daytime. It has limited nighttime and low visibility performance.

FRONT PEDESTRIAN & BICYCLE BRAKING

At speeds between 5 and 50 mph, Front Pedestrian and Bicycle braking can help you avoid or reduce the severity of a front-end collision if a pedestrian or bicycle is detected directly ahead of you. It provides pedestrian and bicycle alerts and can automatically provide hard emergency braking or enhance the driver’s hard braking. It has limited nighttime and low visibility performance.

REAR PEDESTRIAN BRAKING

If your vehicle is in reverse, Rear Pedestrian Braking can alert you to detected pedestrians directly behind your vehicle and can provide hard automatic braking to avoid a rear-end collision.

EXTEND IT

GMC offers additional safety and driver assistance features on select models that can get your attention physically, connect you to a team of expert advisors, or help your teen drivers stay safe on the road.

SAFETY ALERT SEAT

Safety Alert Seat uses left, right, or both-side driver seat vibration pulses to help you identify the direction of potential crashes so you can quickly take action. You can also switch to beeping crash avoidance alerts.
