SIERRA AT4X
The new 2023 GMC Sierra AT4X is the pioneer of premium off-roading, taking everything you love about the Sierra AT4 with amped-up capability and refined luxury.
The 2023 Sierra AT4X is distinguished by its new bolder, bigger look on the exterior with an intimidating redesigned front fascia and grille with gloss black upper and dark nickel inserts and stamped steel high approach front bumper with heavy-duty recovery points and winch capability. The Sierra AT4X also has 18" gloss black wheels with 33" Goodyear Wrangler® Territory Mud-Terrain tires.
Under the hood, GMC equipped this truck with a standard 6.2L V8 engine with 420 hp and 460 lb.-ft. of torque paired with an automatic 10-speed transmission. This high-performance engine gives the Sierra AT4X a max towing
The authentic power of this truck is complemented by several features that make it off-road ready, such as a specific off-road chassis and tuning, and a two-speed transfer case with a variety of selectable modes for multiple off-roading scenarios such as Terrain Mode — which is ideal for low-speed conditions, providing extreme control and precision enabled for one-pedal
The Sierra AT4X also has front and rear e-locking differentials
With the Sierra AT4X, the extreme off-road capability of this truck is matched with premium luxury inside the vehicle. The Obsidian Rush interior of the Sierra AT4X has been completely reimagined with supreme appointments unique to the AT4X trim. When you open the doors, you’ll immediately be drawn to the premium full-grain leather seats and technical-grain leather accents with red double-needle stitching and ceramic white accents.
This interior also is appointed with black-finished authentic Vanta ash wood accents; premium microsuede sun visors and headliners; small details such as AT4X badging on the seats and doors; all-weather floor liners with removable carpet inserts; and stainless steel-etched speaker grilles.
The luxury of this interior goes beyond the leather seats. The Sierra AT4X also offers elevated technology features. Most notable are the 13.4" diagonal infotainment center, 12.3" diagonal digital driver information center and 15" diagonal multicolor head-up display, offering over 40 inches (diag.) of combined driver-focused digital displays — the most in its class
SIERRA AT4X AEV EDITION

As if the Sierra AT4X couldn’t get more rugged, GMC collaborated with American Expedition Vehicles (AEV), a world-renowned manufacturer of premium aftermarket off-road hardware, and introduced the first ever Sierra AT4X AEV Edition. This dominating truck has received a host of hardcore off-roading hardware geared for extreme off-roading and overlanding enthusiasts.
When it comes time to head off the beaten path, the Sierra AEV Edition is the most off-road-capable factory Sierra 1500 ever with tuned-up off-roading specs including a ground clearance of 11.2", 23-degree departure angle and 32.5-degree front approach angle. Adding to the off-road capability and rugged look of the truck, the Sierra AEV Edition features AEV race-inspired Salta wheels with a unique 12-spoke design and AEV’s signature recessed valve stem for added protection.
The Sierra AEV Edition delivers both off-road capability and enhanced protection for the trails. Sierra AEV Edition’s AEV-stamped front and rear bumpers are heavy-duty steel and are powder and e-coated for enhanced durability. The front bumper is also equipped with winch capability, making Sierra AEV Edition the only truck in its class
Protecting the underside of the Sierra AEV Edition is a complete hot-stamped boron steel skid plate package, covering the front approach, steering gear, transfer case, fuel tank and rear differential. These ultra-high-strength skid plates are more than 3.5 times stronger than equivolant cold-stamped high-strength steel, help protect vital components from the adversity of the trail.
Turn heads out on the trail with an exclusive AEV-inspired branding package featuring AEV badging on the front license plate, bumpers, tailgate and wheel caps, and AEV embroidered badging on the head restraints and branded all-weather floor liners. The exterior of the vehicle is also distinguished with black accents on the door handles and tailgate unique to the Sierra AEV Edition.

For the first time ever, the Canyon AT4X is equipped with Multimatic™ DSSV shocks with dynamic spool valves for extended off-roading adventures. To help protect the underbody of the truck from rocks and debris, heavy-duty skid plating, a transfer case shield and rocker protectors are equipped.

Inside the vehicle, the Canyon AT4X has received reinvented digital displays including a new class-leading 6.3" diagonal head-up display, a standard 11.3" diagonal infotainment center touchscreen and an 11" diagonal fully digital multi-color driver instrument display — the Canyon’s first fully digital driver information center. The new Off-Road Performance Display is integrated into the infotainment center and instrument cluster, displaying real-time off-roading performance data in a convenient visual format.
